Description

West Monroe Partners is currently seeking talented consultants with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics AX to join our Montreal office. As a Dynamics AX consultant you will participate in ERP implementation projects and working with a team to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement configurations on Microsoft Dynamics AX. As an experienced consultant you will also work to develop methodology and best practices with the global practice team, and actively participate in Dynamics AX business development opportunities.

Areas of responsibility

· Meet with clients to determine business and functional requirements

· Assist in re-engineering business and system processes around Finance, Sales, Procurement, Inventory and Warehouse Management

· Perform configuration and customization of the Microsoft Dynamics AX

· Participate in and/or lead efforts to develop and execute testing, training and documentation

· Facilitate effective change management programs within the client organization including creating and administering communication plans to promote end-user adoption

· Act as a user advocate to ensure overall system usability and adoption

· Participate in the sales cycle as needed (solution definition, pre-sales, estimating and project planning)

· Willing to be hands-on in producing tangible deliverables (requirements specifications, design deliverables, status reports, project plans)

Qualifications

· Minimum 3+ years experience in an ERP implementation environment as a consultant or end-user with Microsoft Dynamics AX

· Microsoft Dynamics AX certification in one or more of the following subjects:

o Trade and Logistics

o Financials

o Development – MorphX Solution / Enterprise Portal

· Excellent organizational, decision making, human relations and communications skills.

· Working knowledge of one or more project management methodologies

· Demonstrated success working in a team-based environment

· Ability to travel to the client site as needed

· Fluent in English and French

· Bachelor’s degree
