· Школа знаходиться в будинку Ecole Saint-Francois-d’Assise за адресою 35 Melrose Avenue (K1Y 1T8; два квартали на південний схід від Wellington Street i Parkdale Avenue.)
· The school building (Ecole Saint-Francois-d’Assise) is situated at 35 Melrose Avenue (K1Y 1T8; two blocks east from the Wellington Street and Parkdale Avenue crossroads).
[b:9wph39em]REGISTRATION — РЕЄСТРАЦІЯ [/b:9wph39em] Saturday, Sept. 10th – 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. No classes to be held on this date. 10го вересня НЕМАЄ УРОКІВ.
· If you are unable to be at the school for this date, please send me an email with your child(ren)’s name(s) and grade levels so that we can add them to the class lists and have a registration form ready when you come in the following Saturday. Please contact me if you’d like electronic copies of the registration forms to print and complete in advance. Please have your children’s OHIP# handy for registration.
· Якщо Ви хочете собі видрукувати і зазделегідь виповнити реєстраційні анкети, то прошу післати мені імейл і я Вам перешлю електронні форми. В школі будуть роздруковані анкети до заповнення. Зверніть увагу на те що на анкетах треба зазначити діточі OHIP#.
[b:9wph39em]FIRST DAY OF CLASSES – ПЕРШИЙ ДЕНЬ УРОКІВ[/b:9wph39em] Saturday, Sept. 17th 9 a.m. to noon.
· Please remember to arrive 5 minutes before the start of class so as not to interrupt the teachers once classes have begun, and please escort your child to their classroom. Class lists with room numbers will be posted in the foyer. If it’s raining and your child comes to school in rain gear, parents are to ensure that boots, raincoats and umbrellas are neatly stowed away on hooks and shelves in hallways just outside of their child’s classroom. Please arrive 5 minutes early to pick up your child.
· Прошу не запізнюватися на уроки бо навчальна програма дуже насичина, а запізнення дуже перебиває вчителям та тим учням які зробили старання приїхати до школи вчасно.
[b:9wph39em]SCHOOL ASSEMBLY – ВІДКРИТТЯ ШКІЛЬНОГО РОКУ[/b:9wph39em] Late September or early October -A special presentation for parents and students to be followed by a general meeting of all parents (students return to their classes during parents’ meeting). Date and time to be announced.
[b:9wph39em]HELP NEEDED – ПРОХАННЯ ДОПОМОГТИ [/b:9wph39em]із слідуючим — Please give us a hand with the following:
1. Early SEPTEMBER: please send in any photos of past school events that you’d like to see in the school slide show. Our older students will be asked to prepare a slide show for the school presentation in late September. Please do this now, before the hectic scheduling of the new school year kicks in. You may send your digital photos to lesya.granger@gmail.com
2. September 17th : I will be out of town, so we need a few parents volunteers to collect registrations at the school that morning.
[b:9wph39em]ПІДРУЧНИКИ — TEXTBOOKS[/b:9wph39em] A reminder to return any previously unreturned library or textbooks. Для тих у кого є особисті примірники читанок із серії “Tут і там” (з Альберти): можна буде або подарувати або перепродати нашій школі ці підручники, бо ми зараз доповнюємо бібліотичний склад підручників.
[b:9wph39em]ЇЖА та ШКІЛЬНЕ ЗНАРЯДДЯ — SNACKS and SCHOOL SUPPLIES[/b:9wph39em]
· Прошу запевнити щоб Ваша дитина кожної суботи принесла зі собою слідуючі предмети:
— поживну перекуску без горіхів чи арахідів (nut- and peanut-free)
— палітурник (binder), коробку із звичайними олівцями, витирачкою (гумкою) та кольоровими олівцями
— взуття й одежу відповідні до забави на майданчику
— добрий (виспаний) настрій!
· Each student is required to comes to school on Saturdays with the following:
-a healthy, NUT-FREE snack
-a binder and case with graphite pencils, colouring pencils, and an eraser
-comfortable footwear and clothing appropriate for use on the outdoor school playground
-enthusiasm and а good night’s sleep!
