Mind the taxes. Только вот статейку местной прессы прочла http://www.hudsongazette.com/Pageone-1.html
Hudson taxpayers have seen their property taxes increase 34.5 percent since 2006, more than three times the rate of inflation — an average of $1,000 more a year.
In Vaudreuil-Dorion, the average tax bill is up just 9.1 percent in five years even though the city has had to invest millions in new infrastructure to support the construction boom. Meanwhile, St. Lazare’s taxes have increased 16.8 percent and in neighbouring Les Cèdres, taxpayers are paying 15.7 percent more.

• Pincourt, with a five-year tax rate increase of 8.7 percent;
• Coteau du Lac (9.7 percent);
• Les Coteaux (7.2 percent);
• Vaudreuil sur le Lac (5.7 percent)
