1. Crimean filmmaker Oleg Sentsov has been convicted to 20 years in Russian jail on false charges of terrorism as he opposed Russian annexation of Crimea. Almost three months ago he began a hunger strike demanding the release not for himself, but for all 64 Ukrainian political prisoners in Russia. Oleg’s imminent death is rapidly approaching if there’s no action as his condition is critical.

   European parliament has already appealed to Vladimir Putin for immediate liberation of Oleg Sentsov and others. Now it is time for America to speak up. We urge our government to take a firm stance on this issue and use all leverage to demand immediate release of Oleg Sentsov and other Ukrainian political prisoners in Russia.
