Build Master (Release Engineer)
OVERVIEW:
iBwave develops solutions to simplify in-building wireless network design. Our software products are used
by over 230 global leading telecom operators, system integrators and equipment manufacturers in over
60 countries worldwide. Having a solid knowledge in source control, automated builds, automated
deployments, packaging and versioning, the candidate will establish a framework that can be reused on
many projects to create a consistent and reliable process for source control and build systems. The Build
Engineer will work closely with testers, developers, and project managers throughout the application
lifecycle as needed for the company’s product line.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsible for automating and maintaining build and deployment process across multiple
platforms;
* Responsible for automating and maintaining a continuous build process;
* Responsible for the installers for the company’s product line.
* Will help in deployment of our solution at customer’s site;
QUALIFICATIONS:
* DEC or equivalent
* Experience in automating builds and deployments of applications from source control to any
environment. Experience with build tools such as MSBuild, Nant, etc;
* Experience with maintaining source control and educating others on branching, merging, and
general source control questions. (Subversion (Jira Studio) or Team Foundation Server (TFS);
* Experience with Windows installers tools such as InstallAware;
* Experience with .NET Obfuscation and Encryption tools like CLISecure and XHEO CodeVeil
* Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL
* Experience with continuous integration tools like Cruise Control, Cruise Control.NET;
* Experience with any development languages such as C#, C, C++, or java;
* Experience with IIS7;
