Summary:
Jeppesen Montreal is looking for an experienced, passionate Configuration Manager!
We are looking for a consultant with strong technical skills who wants to be part of a skilled
implementation team: solving resource optimization problems, designing and customizing
complex crew management solutions for airlines. You should be a Configuration Manager who
knows how to develop in Java. The most productive CMs on our architecture are developers
themselves, particularly Java developers. Your tasks will include deployment, packaging and
configuration management. You will be based in Montreal and you will probably have some
direct interaction with the client. There might be potential trips to US and Europe, but no
extensive travelling. It’s a fulltime position with a duration of 2 years.
Background and experience:
• University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development
• Minimum 3 years of Linux system administration
• Experienced Java developer
• Agile development methodologies
• Setting up and maintaining Continuous Integration environments
• Eclipse RCP
• Maven
• Tycho
• Jenkins/Hudson
• Nexus repository manager
Competencies
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills
