Experienced Integrator/Configurator
Location: Montreal Office
Description
West Monroe Partners is looking for an Experienced Integrator/Configurator with strong business skills & technology expertise in systems integration and application configuration. Candidates must demonstrate working knowledge and experience with best practice in systems integration and implementation, development and methodologies, systems testing and documentation, project management methodologies and an understanding of how technology applies to business concepts.
The position will report to the supply chain practice and the selected candidate will be involved in supply chain implementation projects such as Demand Planning, Production scheduling, Network Optimization, transport optimization where specialized software are implemented and interfaces with customers’ ERP systems are built. The candidate will work under the supervision of project managers in these different projects and will have direct interactions with customers. The candidate will be in charge of various commercial software configuration, functionality extensions when applicable, interfaces design and programming as well as documentation. This position may require up to 75% travel depending on the project location.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidates will have at least 2 to 3 years of hands-on software integration, implementation or configuration work experience. Specific skills and competencies important to these positions include:
· Experience working within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based project environments
· Working knowledge and experience with business systems integration and data manipulation / management
· Knowledge of SQL language, programming and systems interfacing principles
· Advanced data manipulation skills in Excel, Access
· Advanced knowledge and experience in SQL language and usage of MS SQL Server tools: Management Studio, Integration services, Reporting services. (Knowing Analysis services is a plus)
· Advanced programming skills in .NET (VB, C#) for windows or web type applications
· Knowledge of the manufacturing / distribution industries is a plus
· Understanding that he/she will be responsible for analysis, design and development work
· Solid demonstrated work experience with web-based and/or client-server development
· BS / Computer Science, MIS or equivalent required
· Excellent leadership, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
* Must be fluent in French and English
* Must be able to travel up to 75%
