About the job

As a Javascript Developer, you’ll work alongside some of the most talented people in the industry and take part in the planning and implementation of different user interfaces pertaining to reporting tools and various web applications.

Create custom web components based on detailed designs and wireframes.

Develop easy-to-use, scalable, robust, interactive web applications using JavaScript.

Work closely with UI/UX Designers to help produce ideas and prototype early concepts, while also collaborating with Product Managers, Copywriters, and other sister disciplines to help build out great experiences.

Able to work effectively in globally distributed teams.

Design, develop and write up functional specifications required during the development process.

Qualifications

Highly skilled at front-end engineering using Object-Oriented JavaScript, various JavaScript libraries and micro frameworks (Angular, React, Vue), HTML and CSS.

Good understanding of RESTful APIs and CORS.

Knowledge of HTML5 APIs: localStorage, pushState, etc.

Knowledge of how to use a JavaScript MV* framework an asset.

Well-versed in cross-browser development techniques and browser degradation strategies.

Able to easily communicate in English.

Excellent aptitude to work as a team.

Experience

2 to 5 years of professional development experience.
