The Job
Reports to the Manager, Product Implementation
Product Support
• Handle support calls from customers for timely resolution
• Assist customers in the operation of our product
• Research reported customer problems
• Outline problem reproduction steps
• Inform management on progress of problems and customer issues
• Assist Product Consultants Level-1 & Level-2 as required
Testing & Quality Control
• Perform testing on products and new product releases
• Perform testing on product fixes
• Assist Product Consultants Level-1 & Level-2 as required
Customer Product Implementation Consulting
• Develop Customer systems profile
• Conduct pre-installation visits to customer premises
• Perform conversion planning with pre-live procedures and operations review
• Provide data conversion assistance and planning
• Participate in customer on-site implementation and consulting
• Provide post-live implementation review
• Outline customer modification requests
• Prepare customer spec reports, queries and customization
• Manage implementation project
• Ensure management is up-to-date with project and progress
• Assist Product Consultants Level-1 & Level-2 as required
Customer Training
• Build EP’s and customer/product information relevant to customer requirements
• Provide customer training at Invera, customer premises or via Internet
• Create Product User Guides & Best Practices for customers
Sales & Marketing Support
• Prepare data for demonstration to potential prospects
• Analyze prospect requirements and product fit
• Assist in product demonstrations (on-site or via Internet)
• Assist in creating brochures, videos and marketing materials
Working Conditions
• Regular travel during customer implementations and training
• Occasional travel on weekends
• Occasional work during after hour’s business functions
Your skills and competencies
Ideally you have a university degree, perhaps in teaching, in management of information systems or in sciences
Ideally you have experience training clients, employees or students on the use or implementation of business integration software
You are recognized for your communication skills and pedagogical approach to learning
You enjoy transferring your knowledge to others and watching them grow
You have an ability to manage several priorities at the same time
You are well organised and focused
Your written and spoken English is considered excellent
