Coordinator “Works Management System” (WMS)
The “Works Management System” (WMS) is a web-based software, developed by SNC-Lavalin Inc., Industrial division in order to ensure that construction is completed according to plans and specifications. This web application provides stringent “real-time” updates of construction, as well as all-encompassing worksite activities.
Responsibilities:
— Support the Mechanical Completion activities
— Participate actively in the Construction Completion activities
— Provide technical support to the work site regarding the utilization of WMS
— Facilitate training to end-users
— Perform data entry in WMS
— Deployment of the WMS application on the project
— Create personalize report in a Web base environment
— Maintenance of WMS Database
— Program Script for importation of project Engineering data
— Identify the project needs in terms of WMS application
— Examine the project needs for possibility to incorporate them in the WMS application
— Diverse administration task related to an Engineering firm.
Requirements:
— A University or College degree (preferably in Engineering or Information Technology) or all other pertinent experience
— Proficiency in MS Office, Internet Explorer and Windows
— Proficiency in computer programming
— The ability to work in an autonomous manner while being an integral part of a team-driven environment
— Excellent communication skills
— Bilingualism (French and English spoken and written)
— Strong interpersonal skills
— Solid organizational abilities with the ability to meet deadlines
— Experience in training would be considered an asset
— Construction site experience would be considered an asset
Coordinateur “Works Management System” (WMS)
Le “Works Management System” (WMS) est un logiciel Internet de suivi de construction qui a été développé par la division Industrielle de SNC-Lavalin Inc. Cette application Internet permet un suivi rigoureux et en temps réel de la construction, de l’inspection et offre un support au démarrage d’usine.
Responsabilités :
— Support des activités de « Mechanical Completion »
— Participation active aux activités de « Construction Completion »
— Support et formation des usagers de l’application WMS
— Faire de l’entrée de données dans l’application WMS
— Déploiement de l’application WMS sur le projet
— Création de rapports personnalisés pour le projet.
— Maintenance de base de la donnée.
— Programmation de script pour aller chercher les données de l’ingénierie du projet.
— Identifier les besoins du chantier en termes de l’outil WMS.
— Analyse des besoins du projet en vue de les incorporer à l’application WMS
— Diverses tâches administratives reliées à une firme d’ingénierie.
Exigences :
— Un diplôme universitaire ou collégial dans un secteur technique (préférablement en ingénierie ou informatique) ou toute autre expérience pertinente
— Maîtrise des outils informatiques MS Office, Internet Explorer et Windows
— Maîtrise de la programmation informatique
— Être capable de travailler en équipe et être autonome
— Une excellente aptitude en communication
— Bilinguisme
— Un bon entregent
— Excellentes aptitudes organisationnelles avec l’aptitude à respecter les échéances
— Expérience en formation sera un atout
— Expérience en chantier de construction sera un atout
