SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER
Our client, a company specializing in the development and marketing of highly trafficked web properties, and
a leader in its activity sector is searching for a Senior Web Developer to join its team based in Montreal.
Responsibilities:
As a member of a growing team you will have a mandate to take part in all stages of the web development
life cycle. Your key daily tasks include:
— Develop, implement and maintain object oriented backend applications with PHP, MySQL
— Produce and launching of sites
— Perform code verification and determine recommendations for adaptation
— Analyze processes in order to provide solutions
— Respond to questions and helping other programmers within your team
Requirements:
— Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of related work
experience
— Excellent knowledge of web technologies such as PHP, ASP.NET , Java or C/C++
— Strong knowledge of database technologies to scale for high volume web sites
— Experience in dealing with large scale websites that receive millions of visits per day
— Strong knowledge with dealing large system including logging and reporting
— Experience with a leadership role
— Good HTML/JS/CSS knowledge
— Excellent analysis, problem-solving and communication skills
— Ability to deal with constantly changing technical priorities
— Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
Assets:
-Knowledge of Zend framework
-Ability to communicate in French
