I would like to share with you a position that we recently received for a SharePoint Engineer. 1 year contract renewable up to 3 years.
The contract opportunity is for a well-established company with many worldwide offices, with their Montreal office being one of their main IT hubs. With a local team of over 450 employees, you would be working in a state of the art technological environment that offers challenges to those seeking to push their capacities.
The person will be part of a team that is responsible for the design, engineering and rollout of the SharePoint platform by addressing key deficiencies, integration with other systems, solution development along with application design & consulting for our business. Job will involve working on cutting edge technologies and access to non-public/un-disclosed vendor & product breakthroughs.
Skills set required:
— 80% technical proficiency / 20% Project management & Coordination.
— Extensive migration experience of SP2007 sites.
— Hands on experience in resolving migration issues specific to each site.
— Project management experience.
— Is able to track issues, resolve them, and escalate to the core engineering or Microsoft support as needed.
— Expert with SharePoint Designer modified sites and remediation including UI design and workflows.
— Expert with JavaScript remediation and general Web technologies.
— Expert with HTML/CSS/XML/XSLT/CAML
— Excellent understanding of web technologies.
— Experience with SSO (SiteMinder or NTLM/Kerberos)
— Strong understanding of SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010 and the underlying technologies.
