The BI Intern will be part of the Engineering Group at Seedbox and will be reporting directly to the Software Development Director. The BI Intern will learn how to work with a team of developers responsible for analysis, reporting, ETL tasks, documentation of services and support of our existing BI business needs.

What type of challenges await you at Seedbox?
• You design, develop, document, and test Business Intelligence solutions using industry standard tools;
• You work with Dimensional and Relational Data Modeling and a Data Warehouse;
• You build reports and dashboards to company stakeholders;
• You work with BI and other teams to document and define the criteria for each metric and understand where the data is being sourced from;
• You create process diagrams (using a tool like LucidChart) for some of our larger datasets and larger ETL procedures;
• You assist with writing SQL for data variance research and small ad hoc requests to assist the BI team with their workload;
• You perform detailed data analysis (i.e. structure, content, quality through the examination of our data sources);
• You troubleshoot and debug issues identified with our reports / data sources.

You are a 3rd year student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Data Analysis or a related program;
You recently finished school and are looking for a first opportunity;
You have experience with: MySQL, Amazon AWS, and NoSQL;
You have an interest in developing data warehouses or digital analytics;
You have ETL development skills;
You have effective communication skills (verbal and written);
You have strong analytical and summarizing skills;
You have excellent interpersonal skills and strong team work approach;
