Provide a stable and performant virtual and physical infrastructures;
Manage the datacenter and cloud infrastructures;
Participate in managing and building of firewalls;
Test and install updates of software and operating systems;
Ensure a high level of security on the servers;
Maintain security systems (WAF, IDS, etc);
Monitor, identify and solve resource problems on all the equipment while documenting changes;
Acquire and maintain infrastructure equipment;
Maintain and ensure the availability of the company’s storage systems;
Ensure the coverage of the 24/7 support during oncall periods;
Install servers and provide support to other departments;
Recommend and apply required changes to the infrastructure to optimize the efficiency of the department and the company;
Ensure backups are successful and accomplished according to our defined schedule;
Participate in large scale projects;
Maintain good communication with the infrastructure team and other departments;
Ensure good visibility on all the tasks and projects;
Create and maintain detailed documentation of IT infrastructure.

Minimum 2 years of experience in Linux system administration;
Bilingual, spoken and written (English and French);
Basic knowledge of Windows Servers;
Experience in multi-site environments management;
Experience with PCI DSS is an asset;
Experience working with software and hardware providers;
Experience with diagram software;
Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Munin, etc);
Experience with the different Cloud providers;
Experience with MySQL/MariaDB/Percona;
Experience with the different protocols (DNS, HTTP/S, NFS, etc);
Experience with virtual server management;
Experience with the different web servers and related software;
Experience in networking (LAN & WAN);
Experience with the automation and creation of scripts;
Experience with managing clusters of servers in high availability environment;
Good knowledge of data centers and their processes;
Good knowledge in IT security.
