RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
The Research Associate is responsible for lead generation activities on behalf of ROI clients. This position entails considerable tele-prospecting and tele-research efforts to gather data on targeted businesses. Specific responsibilities include:
Identify decision makers within target companies and execute primary and secondary market research using best-practice methodologies to generate high-quality business development opportunities
Execute take-to-market strategy by leveraging tele-prospecting, email and social media to maximize the volume of qualified leads
Maximize business intelligence gathering and ensure accurate entry into research database for all customer contacts
Requirements/Qualifications
Bachelor Degree, preferably in Marketing
1 to 2 years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, data gathering / analysis and project planning
1 to 2 years in business development, sales or inside sales
Background or strong interest in economic development
Experience in IT, Telecommunications, Finance or Insurance industries preferable
Fluent in English and French (additional languages are an asset)
Self-motivated and works well in both an independent setting and a team environment
Ability to multi-task and work in high-pressured situations
Results-oriented
Driven to meet or exceed consumer expectations
Comfortable with technology and the use of standard office programs
