The candidate must be able to head up the initiative to automate the firm’s quality assurance tests for back-end systems and user interfaces.

Main Responsibilities
•Make sure issues are documented and tracked in the issue tracking system (Jira);
•Create and maintain test plans and test cases in order to detect anomalies and regressions before products are actually launched;
•Perform load tests and stress tests to ensure that the products will meet the production requirements;
•Automate tests that are manually performed and for which automation would be beneficiary;

Employment Requirements
•Collegial diploma in computer science or in software testing or equivalent experience
•4 years doing software quality assurance with systems with both backend (db, application serveur, etc.) and frontend (web UI) components.
•Experience doing Black Box and White Box testing for the backend components and the user interfaces
•Experience using scripting languages (i.e. bash) and using a Unix shell
•Experience with RDBMS such as mySql, Oracle and SQL Server to validate their content
•Experience with test automation tools (i.e. : SilkTest, Selenium, Rational Functional Tester, QuickTest Pro, etc.) for both backend and front-end (GUI) components
•Good overall technical knowledge (our development environment is complex and multiple languages such as Java, C++, C# and ASP.NET are used)

Main Responsibilities
•Analyze requirements with the development team in order to determine required changes to the databases
•Document database schemas and functions and keep the documentation up to date
•Create database scripts in order to modify existing schemas or create new ones
•Create and maintain stored procedures
•Apply existing software development practices (source code control, version management, etc.) and propose improvements
•Support the Quality Control team in their efforts to elaborate test plans
•Be part of the troubleshooting efforts of production issues
•Collaborate with database administrators in order to optimize production databases
•Support and mentor developers to make better use of database resources

Employment Requirements
•5 years experience with MS SQL Server 2005 – 2008 and Transact-SQL

The successful candidate will be responsible for analysis, design and production of new functionalities and interfaces of the advertising and measurement platform of the company, developed in ASP 4.0, ASP .Net with a SQL Server backend. The candidate will also participate in the development efforts of the audio and video streaming services developed in C#.

Responsibilities:
•Perform maintenance and evolution of existing systems developed in ASP 4.0 and ASP .Net with a SQL Server backend.
•Analyze system architecture proposed by the architect of a given project and preparing the documentation required to implement the solution according to the methodology in place.
•Implement the changes and the new code required.
•Teamwork and participate in code reviews and the efforts of group reflection.
•Perform unit tests (in development phase) and correct the faults listed (in the phase of quality assurance).
•Provide support to the operations team and document deployment instructions to ensure a smooth transition to the phase of production.
