Responsibilities:

Reporting to the IT Team Leader, the Level 2 Support Specialist will support Nuance staff with IT related tasks, hardware & software troubleshooting. Your main tasks will include setting up PCs for new hires, coordinating PC upgrades & maintaining the hardware inventory.

• Installing, configuring and deploying new PCs

• Assist local & remote users with support & PCs upgrades

• Collecting Terminated employees’ equipment
• Maintaining an up-to-date hardware inventory

• Assist team lead with equipment recycling (schedule pickup with Green Asset Disposal).

Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS
• Proven abilities in PC setup and configuration
• Experience with, Windows XP, Windows 7 & Dell laptops

• Experience with MS Office 2003-2007, Visio, Project

• Knowledge of Active Directory to create accounts & reset passwords
• Outlook & VPN client configuration and troubleshooting experience

• Ability to support remote users (Remote Desktop)

• General PC troubleshooting and repair knowledge for software and hardware

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in an IT Support role with Help Desk Support background
• Studies in computer science, MIS or a related discipline
• Appreciated: A+ & MCP certification

• Proven communication and customer service skills
