Russian language help needed
Hello Montreal,
I’m eager to pick up the Russian language, primarily for conversation, but I would like to be able to read and write a bit as well.
I’ve considered taking courses at the local schools but it’s not really suited to my needs for a few reasons. First is the rigid schedule. Second is the fact that I’ll be learning the same vocabulary that I’m learning already from my audio lessons at home. I’m getting tired of asking Ms. Petrova if she wants to eat something in the restaurant near Red Square.
Ideally what I’m looking for is a native Russian speaker who would be willing to teach me conversational Russian and let me have a lot of input into the vocabulary I want to pick up. It would also be ideal if this person would be willing to tutor at my place. Since I’m usually short on time I’d like to be able to cook dinner and have a drink at the same time I’m learning the language. If that’s of interest to anyone I’d be more than happy to share a meal/drink with you in addition to regular payment for the tutoring.
