Our company is actively seeking a smart, dynamic individual with a positive can-do mindset to join our web development team in Montreal. The Montreal team is composed of Java developers, designers and architects working on an End User Experience Management product – a high-speed, real-time data processing engine for web site monitoring. Our offices are on the 14th floor in the heart of downtown Montreal (what a view!) just blocks away from two metro lines, both major train stations and the South-Shore bus terminal.

Position 1: Java Developer

Job Duties:
• Work with the Scrum team to develop & test components
• Estimate, design, develop, code-review, test and document components within our business unit
• Investigate and resolve customer issues

Must have:
• Strong communication skills including being able to create technical specifications, debate technical tradeoffs, and explain technical concepts to business users
• Strong knowledge of the Java language and class libraries
• Experience building web-based applications
• Experience with Agile processes and tight interaction with business and operations

Nice to have:
• Experience with component frameworks (OSGI)
• Experience with automated testing (TDD, mocking, Unit/Functional Integration)
• Experience with open source projects and tools (e.g. Apache projects, Maven, Spring, Tomcat/Glassfish)
• Experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP)
• Knowledge of HTTP and XML
• Other evidence of passion, technical expertise, and accomplishment

Position 2: Web UI Developer

Job Duties:
• Integrate in HTML/CSS/JavaScript UI mock-ups provided by the UI designers
• Estimate, design, develop, code-review, test and document new and existing UI components
• Develop new UI components to BMC’s cross-product component library
• Work with Product Owners and QA throughout the development life-cycle
• Help to investigate and resolve customer issues, when necessary

Must have:
• Strong experience with HTML, Javascript and CSS
• Experience with JQuery and Object-oriented JavaScript
• Experience with AJAX and JSON parsing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; verbal and written skills in French

Nice to have:
• Experience in highly interactive and asynchronous UI design
• Experience in data visualization (HTML 5 graphing)
• Experience in TDD (Test-Driven Development), JavaScript unit testing and web accessibility
• Experience in CSS framework (SASS, LESS, etc.)
• Experience with MVC model
• Experience with UI component libraries – e.g., Google Closure, Bootstrap
• Experience with an Agile development process (SCRUM is preferred)
• B.S. in Computer Science or a background in UI design (or professional experience)

    Чтобы был эффект на нашем форуме, котора должна быть не просто хорошая, а очень хорошая. Google или Oracle, думаю, подайдут.
    А то мы уже 1,5 года в две глодки в нашу, тоже весьма неплохую конору, зазываем, зазываем, и все бестольку. Уже более 10к референсных досталось китайцем, арабам и индусам.

    Здесь наверное тоже так будет, к сожалению. Но и специалист нужен хороший, а то и звонить не будут.

    А контора на самом деле хороша, потому как ваша переманила человека оттуда, но через несколько месяцев он обратно вернулся :P
